The Associate in Fine Arts program is now housed in the
newly-opened Siler City Center, located
in the Central Carolina Business Campus at 400 Progress Boulevard off NC 64,
Siler City, North Carolina 27344.
Our Gold LEED certified building is nestled in rolling
wooded hills. The facility houses the
new Associate in Fine Arts program. There is an outdoor sculpture court
adjacent to the arts studios. Students
also have access to an outdoor area which contains a gas reduction
kiln. Wireless computer access and
SmartBoards are available in each classroom.
This adaptable facility allows the expansion of our Fine
Arts program offerings in spaces that allow the artist greater flexibility. Sculpture students will be able to work with
a variety of media including stone. You’ll
see some of our tools, equipment, student work, and art processes featured in
the slide shows on the page beside this article.
Student exhibit space is available and display of work is
encouraged. CCCC’s newest facility is a
reflection of the artist community that is being created in Siler City.
